I’m a watercolor artist, 11-time author, art supply designer, and educator — and the heart behind Paintcrush, a creative home for artists who want to feel steadier, braver, and more joyful at the art table.

I’ve guided hundreds of thousands of beginner and returning watercolorists through pressure-free lessons that focus on process, mindset, and creative health— not perfection. My approach blends expressive watercolor techniques with gentle storytelling and practical encouragement, helping artists slow down and reconnect with why they wanted to make art in the first place.

Through my paintings, books, tools, journals, retreats, and videos, I invite artists of all levels to release self-criticism, trust their curiosity, and remember that making art for joy’s sake is the most important ideal in Watercolorland.
